Services offered
A bespoke therapeutic experience, thoughtfully curated to support your individual path toward healing and self-discovery. Rooted in advanced, trauma-informed care, the work is intentionally paced and deeply attuned to your nervous system and lived experience.
Sessions are designed to prioritize safety, regulation, and depth—allowing meaningful change to unfold without pressure or urgency. This is therapy for those seeking nuanced, high-quality care that honors both the complexity of trauma and the body’s innate capacity for healing.
Our couples counseling grounded in somatic therapy, integrating the body’s wisdom and stored relational history into the healing process. This approach recognizes how stress, trauma, and attachment patterns are held not only emotionally, but physiologically—and how these embodied experiences shape connection, communication, and intimacy.
Within a carefully supported relational space, couples are guided to slow down, build awareness, and develop greater attunement to themselves and one another. Over time, couples are able to move beyond reactive patterns and cultivate resilience, trust, and lasting relational change.
The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) is a gentle, evidence-based listening intervention designed to help calm the nervous system and increase emotional resilience. Using specially filtered music, SSP supports the body in shifting out of chronic stress and survival responses and into a greater sense of safety, ease, and connection.
SSP is offered as part of a thoughtfully individualized treatment plan, with pacing tailored to each person’s unique nervous system needs. Sessions are intentionally structured to support regulation and integration, allowing the body to absorb the work without overwhelm. When delivered within a supportive therapeutic relationship, SSP can create a stabilizing foundation that supports deeper healing and long-term well-being.
Melissa is trained in both Brainspotting and EMDR, allowing her to thoughtfully select the approach that best supports each client’s unique nervous system and therapeutic goals. Both modalities are neurobiologically informed and designed to help process trauma and distressing experiences held within the brain and body. The work is guided by careful pacing, relational attunement, and respect for each client’s capacity for safety and integration.
Rather than relying on a single method, these approaches are used flexibly and intentionally—supporting the resolution of trauma, reduction of emotional charge, and restoration of adaptive functioning. When offered within a steady, well-contained therapeutic relationship, Brainspotting and EMDR can foster deep insight, emotional resilience, and lasting change.
